Description
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) essential oil is a pure, natural essential oil used as an aroma and in aromatherapy for its grassy, lemony scent and flavor. When used as an aroma, use sparingly. Essential oils are powerful.
These concentrated essential oils and flavours are 3-4 times stronger than typical alcohol-based extracts and work equally well for flavouring baked goods and icings as they do for candies. Performs exceptionally in high-heat applications such as candy making. Ideal for use in baking, frostings, fudge, candied popcorn, truffles, taffies and more.
Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings (typical use is ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pound).
